Marking the 30th year of tradition, you and your family won’t want to miss the 2023 Christmas Parade. The Lawrence Christmas Parade is one of the most unique parades in the nation. Authentic horse-drawn carriages parading down Massachusetts Street is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Cozy up with hot cocoa and blankets. Feel the true holiday spirit while watching dozens of beautiful horses and wagons adorned in garland and bells. Join us to celebrate American heritage and keep our tradition alive this holiday season.

I ate at the Eldridge and learned they have a new Chef named Mark. The server was very helpful and explained some of the new specials they had that night that were not on the menu yet. I got the Artic Char and it was the best fish I have ever had, I was shocked! I also tried a few of the fall cocktails and loved the Pumpkin Spice Martini. Highly recommend for an extraordinary fine dining experience in Lawrence!

Met here twice to watch KU basketball with a large group and both times we had a grand time—it helps that KU won, but also the staff in the bar/restaurant helped make our time pleasant as well. Don’t miss going into the basement of the hotel to check out the Big 6 room where you can see the old-timey mascots from the days when KU was in the Big 6 conference!

This is my favorite spot in Lawrence to grab a quick dinner. The food is seriously delicious, and the service is great. You will also be quite surprised by how affordable it is, especially considering the amount on the plate and the great atmosphere.

My husband and went to the Eldridge for lunch. It was one of the best experience at a restaurant I've ever had. The sweet fire shrimp is so delicious you'll be hooked. My cheeseburger was cooked perfectly. The prices where good, the restaurant was clean, table set up beautiful. The manager even came and asked us how everything was, I thought that was a special touch. Will recommend to friends and will be back.

The Jayhawker has a unique atmosphere that subtlety hints towards a fine dining experience full of historical nostalgia. Settled in the lobby of The Eldridge Hotel. With its wide variety of top shelf spirits and wine and a selection of beers to quench the thirst of anyone's palette that seeks out such pleasures. Has become a destination of Kansas University Alumni and tourist far and wide.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Extended Eldridge hotel and it was an upgraded version of the Eldridge itself. It is right downtown and within walking distance to all of the great venues Lawrence has to offer. Outstanding service from front desk, restaurants, housekeeping, everyone! They have great amenities, plus their beds are amazing too! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

We stayed at the Extended Stay and loved it! The room was beautiful with wood paneling, tall 12 ft ceilings and gorgeous wood shutter windows. The bed was soft and the pillows plenty and fluffy. Everything was pristine, clean and comfortable. The location was ideal, one block to the center of the action in Mass street.

Classic hotel with great customer service. I had to leave at 5 a.m. to catch a flight. A staff member was kind enough to walk me to my car parked a couple of blocks away and assist with my luggage. Newly renovated bar/entry which is beautiful. Thanks to all the staff for making my trip back to Lawrence wonderful!

One of our Mass Street favorites! We love the menu, the atmosphere and have always received first rate service. So much variety to choose from and everything we've had is magnificent. The Sweet Fire shrimp appetizer and the Pan Seared Ahi Tuna salad are both spectacular, tough to order wrong at The Eldridge, we'll be back for sure!

Fantastic historic hotel right on Massachusetts street in downtown Lawrence. Right in the heart downtown with great shopping, dining and bars just a few steps away. We came for the parade and holiday shopping and where able to get a forth floor room overlooking the parade route.

This hotel provides plenty of upgrades that separate them from most properties! I travel a lot so I have to give this place five stars for going above and beyond. As far as design I would give the first floor lobby bathrooms 5 stars. Everything is glamorous, yet classy with a modern twist to traditional look.

Catherine and her staff helped me host a 20-person weekend event. Everything went smoothly; the event was easy to plan with clear communication and great service from start to finish. Plus, the group raved about the hotel; everyone loved its unique spaces and historical character.

The Eldridge has hosted our annual company Christmas Party for the last two years in the Crystal Ballroom and the planning process could not have been more effortless. I worked directly with Catherine, all we had to do was show up and have a good time. The staff was friendly and attentive and the bar staff kept up with our healthy appetite for mixed cocktails. I would recommend the Eldridge to friends and family!

Our holiday party at the Eldridge was terrific. The space was beautiful, and the service was fantastic. This venue is one-stop-shopping from a party planner’s point of view - no caterer to hire and no tables, chairs, dishes, or linens to rent. Catherine and her team were so friendly. They did a great job with all the details - from initial planning to day-of preparation. They even boxed up the decorations at night's end, so we didn’t have to stay late to do it ourselves.
